Why Smith Mountain Lake??

 

When we moved back to the area in 1998 we knew we wanted to be near the water. The only choice for us was Smith Mountain Lake. The lakes beauty, breadth and charm are unmatched in Southwest Virginia. We looked for sometime before finding our piece of paradise. We had specific requirements of the lot and this one had it all. We wanted decent acreage on the main body of the lake, wide water sunset views, some mature trees, light boat traffic, and space for kids to play. This property had it all and much more. The 1.4 acre property is located in a small eight lot subdivision on a cul-de-sac. The subdivision is only one mile from Parkway Marina which is the terminus of the peninsula that we live on. We are also just two miles away from the beautiful Smith Mountain Lake State Park.
